Magic Languages & Chants?

Does anyone here know any magic languages or languages that use Magic? I know most chants are in latin or english but I wanted to learn something new for this.

If so do you know of any resources I could look into to learn it. Also what type of magic is it that you know that uses chants or a different language?

The one I've heard a lot about is enochian. There's also the witch's alphabet. You can just google it and there's ton of information on it. Magick isn't limited to language so if someone did a luck spell in English, the same spell could be done in any other language.

Yes I have heard of Enochian but not found much about it, the internet is difficult.

I also saw that it was Satanic... I know some people would say all magic is Satanic but I dont want to go down that road..

The only "used only for magic" language that I am aware of is Enochian, as channeled by John Dee and Edward Kelly. There are several good books on Enochian, but the one that I have found that has the best pronounciation is The Complete Enochian Dictionary by Donald C. Laycock. It presents Dee's original pronounciation guidelines.

All language has a magical quality because, when used correctly, language has the ability to effect the subconscious mind and create or modify reality. Most languages have other magical qualities, such as Hebrew, whose individual letters have magical coorelations. Japanese has "words of power" used in kotodama, and then the common words. Many more exist if you look for them.

What you might look more into is not so much a new language, but how to use the one you already have. You have the ability to put intention and energy in with every spoken word. In fact, you alreay do. You probably just don't realize it most of the time. In addition to that, taking a course in conversational hypnosis or NLP would be very beneficial.

Also lathin is very used in magic, as plenty of spells and ritual date from The Pagan Roman Empire:) As in my opinion, I believe that enochian language and it's story it is a big fat lie!

That's good for you Blue. Believe in what you like. It's a free country, and you have free will. For me, I will continue to work with Enochian magick. And yes, Latin is used a lot in magical practices.

I mainly use English as then I know I'm saying things correctly. I will write in theban as I find it powerful. I will not speak in Latin, it's just a personal thing.

Language is done universally so it doesn't really matter so long as faith is in the spell and language.

Yap, that is also true, Grayhealer. But as for me, when I use latin, it gives me more faith:) Don't know why, but it sounds better to me! So asa long as it helps me, do know why not using it;)

I'm not saying that, I'm just saying I want to be able to pounce what I'm saying correctly, that's why I mainly use English. I however believe what language you use would be fine, if you have faith & are comfortable with it, then it's all good.
