My name is Gen Evie. Now, I am not a very experienced witch. I have only started practicing for about a month now. I have been curious of magic my whole life but have only been practicing it as of late. I come from a extremely religious Christian family. But I also come from a long history of Gypsies and Witches on my Dads side of the family. My Grandfather on my Dads side of my family is where I get my gifts from. My heritage comes from Trinidad, Spain, India, Scottland, & England.
My Grandfather was once a powerful witch who committed suicide. Since his passing my Grandmother burned all his spellbooks, and my whole family stays far away from magic. Since all of my family are highly religious Christians I had to stay away from magic for a long time.
Since I was a young girl I have always been sensitive to spiritual energy. I've always been able to connect and see things a lot of other people couldn't and just have a natural understand of the universe and how it works. I can feel spirits when their near me. Depending on the spirit, it can either give me energy, or deprive me of energy. I am gifted with visions I believe. I rarely ever dream, but whenever I do they ALWAYS happen in reality. I've also had times where I hear a voice in my head when I'm near or thinking about someone, to then find out that what I was hearing, was a thought they were thinking.
For a long time I felt estranged from people, cause nobody could really understand if I tried to explain this to them. The Majority of people just saw me as weird... But now exploring my history and finding out who I am has made me thankful. I'm starting to see these abilities as gifts. All I would like to do now is further my knowledge and Understanding of Magic and Discover myself and my abilities as a Witch.
