Setting up an altar

Then put a candle in the center a pentagram to the north of the candle representing earth a lava rock to the south of the candle representing fire an empty box to the east of the candle representing air a bowl of water to the west representing water

Next place objects that represent your deity?s on either side of of the pentagram then place the other things u use for the particular ritual nearest to you

Next take your athame and walk around the table visualizing energy streaming out of the athame to make a circle around the altar then visualize it stretching out to become a sphere around the altar this creates an appropriate atmosphere for the ritual

Again this is my way of setting up my altar if you don?t have the right thing you can research on some good substitutes
