so, i believe there's a spirit of some sort lurking in my room. i just moved back into my parents' house and have taken their old room. this doesn't happen every night, but some nights, i get this eerie feeling that something is watching me. i sometimes hear sounds, too, but those could be attributed to an old house.
on the nights when i feel this presence or whatever it is, i have strange dreams. one of these dreams involved my room, where i felt some sort of animal was in there with me, and then it knocked on my dresser loudly to the point where i'm sure i sat up and sleepwalked to the edge of my bed. i remember in the dream i tried to make loud sounds to scare it away, but i couldn't get my voice to work. dream versions of my younger brothers came into my room and scared it off through the outside door in my room. it was a dog or fox-like creature.
basically, i would like to determine if this spirit or whatever is benevolent or not, and if it's malevolent, i'd like to banish it. please give me your thoughts on it.
