Hello, so my friend and I are in a coven(not online). Her mother is very disapproving of this, and she believes this is all a "phase"for both my friend and I. I recently had some tarot cards in her room, and her mother opened the door to find us about to do a reading. She immediately told us to get out, and stop "doing that". We discussed why she disapproves so deeply, and she said that she doesn't want either of us to start following wicca. She has a friend who was once pagan, and she has been telling the mother all of these warnings, but won't tell why. I was wondering, Why would anyone not like Wicca. I am not wiccan but it seems ok to me. Is there any thing that I should know about wicca that can upset a person so deeply? If you respond, I thank you, and have a great night/day.
