Amber is fossilized resin of extinct evergreen trees from approx. 20 million yrs ago. It is associated to time and Akasha the "fifth element" and known by ancient civilizations to bind earth, air, fire and water. Magically, Amber is believed to be symbolic of life and living things(plants, animals, humans).
