Many of you need no description of what this is. But for those who do not, This is the Eye of Horus. It was an ancient symbol of protection, royal power (as Pharaohs tombs indicate),and good health. Horus was the Sky God, and usually depicted as a falcon. His right eye was associated with the Sun God Ra, and the mirror image(left)sometimes represented the moon and the God Thoth. In the ancient tongue, it was known as 'wedjet', literally meaning 'the green one'.
