This prayer/spell is to the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon. It helps to reduce and stop flooding in the home.

Casting Instructions for 'Stop Flooding'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • 1 Blue candle
  • Belief/Faith

Light the blue candle and hold your hands around it. Stare into the flame for a good 30 seconds before saying the prayer. After 30 seconds, chant:

"Poseidon, god of the sea, I pray to you to not allow flooding of my home or any other. This is my plea, so mote it be."

Well, weather spells require a lot of energy to change the weather so I don't think saying some words and lighting a candle will stop flooding.

Seek help before turning to a spell. This will not work, but even if it did, take the logical steps of preventing a flood from damaging your home before spells. Yes, a protection could help, but you need to take action. Spells do not work without the Witch putting in mundane effort. In regards to protections, they mainly protect against spiritual harm and reduce the risk of physical harm. It will not stop a flood from destroying your home. At best, your home would receive less damage. However, this specific spell does not work. It does not have any Magik behind it.
