Begin your spell or ritual, but before you use your energy to complete it prick or slice your finger. Finish the spell or ritual. Warning: you must be completely willing and not hesitant because if you are the spell or ritual will go horribly wrong. Never take blood from an unwilling person.

It's for people who want to incorporate blood magick into their casting. Blood personalizes the spell and adds more power to it [you can also use hair, spit, nail clippings, so on, but blood is a life-force and therefore seen as flowing with the most energy] You only need one or two drops, so use a sterilized sewing needle. If you wish to use blood, you would seal the spell with it. Say you anointed a candle with herbs and oils, you would then add a drop of blood to the mix before lighting the candle. If you are making a jar spell, the last thing you would add would be your blood. What this person is trying to explain is how to add blood to the spell. It doesn't have to be a ''blood magick spell'' it simply has to be a spell you then add a drop of blood to.

I would not recommend a razor. Too easy to get yourself killed.
