alot of people like to use music that relaxes and comforts them during meditation just whatever modivates them. usualy drums or any exhillerating music is used to raise energy during ritual. other than that i dont ive never read anything on it

Yes and no, vibrations are very important in meditation when trying to raise conciousness levels, thus if you can find music with the right type of vibration in it it can be used, in general a good start would be shamanic drumming music, it will help you enter into a trance state in which focus and energy manipulation is much easier.

Kao, is there any chance that one would find 'shamanic drumming music' on limewire? Can you maybe give some musicians's names? Sorry if this sounds a bit like an american girl expecting lions in the streets of Africa :)

let me see what i can organize for you verity, we usually do our own drumming, but i will see if we can make a recording for you ;) otherwise, a semi commercial band who's music can also help achieve the same purpose is The Dead can Dance.
Drop me a pm, i have a track which i can mail you which works on almost the same principle, except uses vibrations exclusively, apparently it induces astral, but it has many more uses than that ;)
