Where do you write your spells? I have plenty of small notetpads before but got tired of losing them from time to time.

My wife uses a three-ring binder because it is easy to update, change, and re-organise. Or even replace if it gets damaged or worn out.

As for myself, I don't keep my information written down anywhere specifically. Heh, I'm too disorganized for that. Plus I am terrible at Journaling. I've tried to develop a habit both in physical paper, by keeping a file on my computer, and even with online services like LiveJournal, my journal, and even *shudder* Tumblr. But More often than not, even if my hea is positively swimming with thoughts and ideas as soon as I sit down and try to write them out my brain goes blank. It is as if a part of myself suddenly decides those thoughts are not worth writing. Or I can't organize them into proper sentences. Or the thoughts bounce by as nothing more than a context-less concept or just a couple words. Things that wouldn't be sensible without a great deal of context.

I suppose that is why I rely on chats and forums so much. For some reason having something/someone with a specific question to answer focuses my scattered whirlwind of thoughts and stitches them together for me. I guess my 'book' is the collection and history of all the many forums, chats, and websites that I have visited over the years, along with the stacks of books I have collected. So I've lost as much as I've made. Though, whatever I have lost has usually come up again later and given me a new chance to revisit and refine my thoughts anyways.
