A promise spell

I got curious of something, is there a way of making a promise and if someone breaks the promise, something will happen?

I want to say possibly, but with all magic results will vary and it won't be anything like a spell depicted in fiction. What happens to the person who breaks the promise has to be physically possible for example, and it also has to be probable.
