Do protection Jars/bottles have to be placed in the ground 12 feet deep or can you place them above ground?

I carry mine on my person (usually as a small necklace or keychain) or in my purse or car. You can, however, choose to bury it on your property. Depth, I believe, really depends on the individual doing the burying. I generally bury mine a few inches into the earth. I've never heard of someone burying anything that deep though, unless you have the heavy equipment to do the digging, you're going to be in for some long, labours hours just to bury a jar.

All the jar and bottle spells I had read and made are usually buried underground ( depth depends on you or the spell), forgotten in a hidden place like under a bed. Also some people would carry it with them if it is small enough. Some people might have meaning on how they do it. For example if its protection for my home i'll bury it in the ground because for me the element earth means to me strong and last for a long time. Thats what I want in my spell. Its up to you on how you want do with the jar/bottle and put meaning to how you deal with jar/bottle.

Hope this helps
