Is open honey jar spell

Hello, Im new and I made my honey jar for love 2 weeks ago, I wanted to add my guy's and my hair and rose quartz into the jar. I asked the psychic store owner who is 20 years experiences if I can open the jar and add those items, She said it is no problem. So I opened it and added.
I read some saying never open the jar. was it ok to open?

I think that opening it to add personal items to help boost your working is perfectly fine. However, if you are doubting that it is still good, I would recommend going ahead and starting over from the beginning so you can add the personal items right from the start.
