I was just wondering what you guys would feel about this as an interpretation. It just seemed weird to me.
So my husband is getting really close with this other chick (whom I actually work with), and while I trust him and have had normal problems with jealousy that I've easily gotten over before, this seems different. Like kinda flirting in front of me different (I bad at telling when people are flirty in general but I know my husband well enough to tell or at least... I think I do).
So it's Samhein, and I'm still very much in the broom closet, but I always enjoy the energy of this holiday. Like a lot of people I feel like my intuition peaks around this time of year. He's going out partying with this chick and some of my other coworkers, while I'm at home enjoying some time by myself. Again, we've been together several years and him going out without me is pretty much never a problem. But we both left our friend's house at the same time, and I saw the moon out in clear sky, and some thunderclouds rolling in quickly (basically a lightning storm (roughly coming out of the north). I feel like some serious trouble is coming. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I felt like that particular combination was a bad sign.
There's still fairly significant frequent lightening going on outside our back window.
And to be clear, we have had calm discussions about how I feel with this matter, and nothing has changed. Something just feels super off. He's had lots of female friends over the years that I have had no concerns with.
Maybe I'm just reading too much into it but it made me nervous.
Always trust your intuition, but be careful not to confuse it for paranoia or anxiety. Usually, your intuition is a jolting realization or suspicion — not an ongoing thought that causes you distress. Lightning and thunder is difficult to categorize since the omen relies on a number of different factors, but it is generally considered a bad sign. This does not inherently mean your superstitions are correct, but perhaps you can further test this idea with the use of tarot, runes, scrying, etc. I wish you the best of luck.
