Supplies?

What supplies would you guys recommend for a beginner? I've done magic before but it's been a while. Most of my stuff is lost or old and worn out. Since this is my first time on a magic site I was wondering what you'd all suggest? Thanks! :)

Personally I would suggest nothing, you don't need supplies in order to practice.
It may be best to give yourself some time and see if there is anything in particular that you would like to add into your practice that you don't have, or something specific to a path that you would like to follow in the future.

I agree with HearthWitch. And anyway, if you still have your old stuff, I find that our connections with our tools never fades. It brings to mind a practitioner I know of whose athame was an old, beaten up silver butter knife he'd found by some railroad tracks. He loved that he'd just stumbled upon it, and felt an instant connection with it. He also liked that he'd found it by railroad tracks, an easy, everyday symbol for journeys, and felt it was clear he'd been fated to change upon it while following his path.

Just some food for thought. Hope this helped!

I am not around often but visited today and read your post. A candle in white or some candles in colors also besides white might be nice to have. Jus sitting next to a candle and some incense and just let the thoughts wander. Incense again choose some that you like be it stick ( Morningstar Kodo is not too smoky and nicely scented) or some resin incense, I use just some aluminium foil a bit over a candle on a little fireproof plate, so no charcoal fumes. I think have at least one supply per element so candle for fire, incense for air, for earth perhaps a small herb plant in a pot like rosemary or a stone, for water some freshly made herbal/floral infused waters. These do not stay fresh long so I make fresh every other day. If you want it to last add some alcohol/vodka.
Or some water in a bowl and a bit of Florida water added to it.
Making your own supplies is in a way magical in itself. Going out and finding things in nature even if it is just a few pine cones. Collecting bottles, jars to store supplies. Using crafts/hobbies to make things yourself. Of course going to a shop or ordering online and getting a box in the mail is also nice.Succes in all.
