Can our dragon guardian help us in matters beyond spells and magic, as in advising us on our daily life? And how could I find her/him?
And how do I really be able to interact with my dragon guardian without losing myself to my chaotic mind?

Yes. Part of the point of spiritual guardians and guides/mentors etc., Is to guide you in both the mundane in magical. There are a few ways. Meditation, craft a summoning rite, or astral project to him/her.

As for your mind, that's on you.
