Hi. I am looking for information about types of real magical creatures. All answers are appreciated. Thanks.

What do you classify as magical creatures?

Anything with supernatural abilities that ar not human. Real creatures of course.

Spirits, demons, Poltergeisters, entities, angels, etc.. are some " creatures with supernatural abilities "

May I also state that animals that are either represented or that you are psychologically close to (spirit animals) can invoke your magic.

Just to add, there are also thought forms. You breath life and pranna into them, but some examples are golems (these are not physical golems- they are only spiritual creations), servitors, and Tulpas.

Fairies are another example, but of course, I mean nature spirits. Not anything that is going to grant you wishes.

I am looking for creatures along the lines of Thunderbirds, Stormhounds, and basilisks.

Many such things are mythological and specific to a culture. Thunderbirds, for example, are a Native American myth which is not shared by every Native American people.

It is the same with the others.

To learn about these spirits, study the beliefs of the culture you want to learn about, specifically its religious and mythological traditions.
