I was wondering if there are specific properties linked with the Stargazer Lily, or would the properties attached to the "Lily" encompass all species in the Liliaceae family?

Primary Significance: The floral celebrity, stargazer lilies are young, bold, beautiful, and dramatic. The meaning of these fragrant flowers can be one of wealth and prosperity, but their white variety can dress down to genuinely express purity and sympathy.

Tia,

Thank you so much for providing me with this information. I had researched myself; however, I had come out empty-handed. Thank you for taking the time to find this information for me.

All the best,

Also, becareful with lillies, they can be highly dangerous to cats. :)

Ingesting just one leaf can result in severe poisoning, and within a very short time your cat will exhibit signs of toxicity. All parts of the lily plant are considered toxic to cats, and consuming even small amounts can cause severe poisoning.

So if you have a kitty keep it away somewhere they can't reach them :)

Thank you for letting me know! I do have a couple cats, and although one of them is pretty much made of steel (he can eat anything and miraculously stay alive and well) my other would not benefit from eating them, certainly. This is a good reminder, regardless, to look up which of my herbs are potentially hazardous/poisonous to my cats.
