Ive found a couple things that really did help me with meditation and really just calming the mind.
Binaural beats are a wonderful thing to listen to. It made me calm down and they have many different types and in different waves for everyone.
There is a website caled Calm.com that for smartphone users you can download an app and it teaches you how to meditate for those who need guided meditation.
Just wanted to share, ive been stuggling with meditating for a while and the binueral beats really helped me!
