In december of 2014, I started a path toward trinitarian wicca (Christian Witchcraft) and it was going good but I've been hitting a lot of roadblocks lately and I need someone's help. Can someone mentor me in Trinitarian Wicca? Please? And also please no church bashing on this thread. Let's keep it respectful. :)
I have not heard of this particular path until I met you. However if you are interested in learning more about Wicca in general, I suggest you talk to Lark or read the stuff she has posted on the Wicca thread
A quick glance at Google yields that Trinitarian Wicca (which claims to be the proper name for Christian Wicca) is a new paradigm that's based on a 2003 book by Nancy Chandler. Being that it is the original print published on the matter, I would look there as a starting point. There seems to be confusion about what it actually is among the sources I looked at; some claiming that it is polytheistic, others claiming that it is simply Christianity that follows the mannerisms, beliefs, and holidays of Wicca without actually honoring or worshipping the Lord and Lady.
To start off, what do you consider Trinitarian Wicca to be and where in it do you fit? What are your roadblocks?
Christian Wicca is a hard thing to do instead of praying in the term of in the name of the father the so and of the holy spirit u would say in the name of mother nature the daughter and spirit. I used to be Christian Wicca it wasn't my style it works for a lot of people. I rather stay traditional pagan blessed be
