Could you explain yourself a bit more? Tell us a bigger story behind the symbol, rather than the fragments you seem to be giving us.

Another possibility is that the center is a significator of sorts, representing someone or something. The rest are connections to archetypes represented symbolically.

Since it came from an entity, of sorts, through your friend's UPG experience, then your friend's best bet to find its meaning is to contact the entity and ask.

There is also the possibility that the symbols and shapes involved have some subconscious meaning to your friend. So again, your friend would have to figure that out.

For some reason your link to the symbol will not work for me. So I am thinking that if it was made personally for you, it could be a sigil. Only the maker would know what it means.
