I started meditating about three weeks ago because I'm reading this book called "Psychic Pathway" as it was suggested to wake up my psychic awareness, the book suggests that I meditate everyday for seven days, but I only have done it maybe every other day and I haven't been recording what I've meditated on because my mind be everywhere and it seemed as though I have to chase it while I'm meditating to bring it back to the meditation. Anyways now it seems as if I go two days without meditating I become very tired and don't have energy to do anything. Can anyone tell me if this is meditation related? Thanks in advance.

Blessed be.

What else did the book say about meditating? I ask this because it seems 7 days is an awfully short time to awaken any psychic awareness, perhaps its long enough to see a slight change though.
I know plenty of people who treat their morning mediation like their morning cup of coffee, without it they can't focus on their daily task and end up not efficiently using their time and energy.
More advanced meditation techniques can be used to draw and collect certain energy intended for a purpose (any form of magic really).
But I don't think those are the cases, as you mentioned earlier that while meditating your mind is everywhere. Mediation is the discipline of the mind, therefore you must learn to control your thoughts and not let it "be everywhere" I think it would be good if you revisited clearing your mind as a part of meditation practise.

Thank you for replying, the book says this is just to start off and to train your mind to come back if it stray away from meditating. I am supposed to record everything that comes to mind while meditating no matter how small it is, and I haven't been doing that because it is hard for me to relate what it is that comes to my mind while I am meditating, so I keep trying to start from the first of my seven days of meditating. I just I'm stuck because I'm not following the directions very well.

Blessed by.

What meditation method are you using? There are many methods and how tos on this site which I reckon can help you focus better.
To start off there are breathing exercises and simple visualisation exercises.
