Where to buy a robe
Long story short, while working at my alter (outdoors) a stray kitty decided to surprise me and jumped up on it during a ritual. I instantly reached for the kitty to keep her from getting harmed, and the sleeve of my robe brushed a candle just right without me noticing. It was a small fire, but none the less my sleeve did get burnt.

I'm looking to buy another robe, but don't don't want to waste money getting something cheaply made. (I know people who have ordered costume quality robes and payed good money for them) Does anyone know where I can order a nice robe?

On a positive note, the ritual was to help with my teenage daughters depression (a friend of hers tragically died in a car accident). I brought the cat inside, and no one ever claimed her. She instantly took to my daughter, and stays will her all the time. My daughter had allergies to cats when she was younger, but it's been over a month, and she's had no signs of allergy trouble. Is my magick that powerful? Did a God/Goddess gift it to her? Was the kitty just a hungry stray that showed up at the right time? Who knows. It's a simple reminder though that we don't always get what we want, but we do get what we need.

Please let me know if you happen to know a good source for a nice robe, or places I should avoid.
Thank you

You can get a lot on eBay, mine was from eBay and it is reasonable quality, depending on where you live you can try in small occult stores, the one I would recommend is The Wonky Broomstick a store in Glastonbury (they have an online store too), everything I have ever bought from there has been amazing quality. Bar that you could try getting one custom made on Etsy. On a side note I doubt it was your magick that stopped her allergies, many children are allergic to cats but when they begin to grow up it passes, I too used to be allergic to cats, now I'm fine. But the cat may be sensitive to your daughters emotions, just like all animals cats are very sensitive to emotions.

While there are many sources to purchase robes at many different price and quality points, why not make one yourself?

That way you get to choose the fabric, the pattern, exact dimensions, make any changes, add pockets or whatever you want.

Plus you'll put yourself into it, your purpose and intent, and you can make it especially yours, consecrated for your intended purpose from the beginning.

Interesting about the cat adopting your family. I have had many cats, the one I have now is ten months old. His name is Kat. I know that if you ill treat a dog, he will lick your hand! Ill treat a cat, and you will never see it again.
The old adage about cats is true! You do not own a cat; the cat owns you!
