Yes, pets scratch a surprising amount. A friend of mine was playing with her kitten when she was finished she noticed her arms were scratched a bit and the back of her hands.
She never felt it. I also, when playing with my jack russle dogs, have been scratched and not felt it or felt it bt forgotten about it.
While it is true, demon attacks are not rare, they are not common either.
Again, it is true, unless you know your stuff either in spiritual battle or spell casting chances are quite low and you'll be basing on luck.
Having said that, it may and is probably not, a demon.
Things to check:
1. Do you have pets. Yes? That is probably the explanation, unless they are acting a bit strange.
2. Have you got a new item, moved something that was in your house before you moved in, or recently moved.
If yes, move it back, or cense the object
Demons are like spirits, they vary in the degree of temperature change. A bit Hollywood like, I foud the more evil the aura, the colder the temperature.
Having said that if you are really worried and feel you have the power and knowledge try this:
You may need some offerings [muffins, a drink herbs or something of your choice]
1. light 4 candles and place them in a square either on the corners of a table or altar or around you on the floor, which ever you feel safer doing.
2. lLight a fifth candle, either holding it [if on the floor] or place it in the middle of the table.
3. Invoke first each element. Air, fire, water, earth. Invoke your fifth element. This can be storm, sprit, love what ever.
4. invoke a diety of your choice, be this artemis, nyx, the lord or lady, or just god.or jesus.
5. Ask your god or goddess to protect you during this ritual.
6. Call upon on spirit in the house to communicate with you, ask it its intent. the knocking method can be good or some kind of sign [even if it is a bit Hollywood]
7. If necossarl, call upon the power of your invoked diety and the elements in a powerful banishing spell to banish the spirit.
8. Close the gate, this is important, close the spirit gate, pulling all spirits in with it.
9. Make the offering to your god or goddess and thank him/her for protecting you and helping you.
10. Thank each elemnt, [fifth elemnt, earth, water, fire and air] in that order for coming and bid them depart. Declare the ritual closed.
When you ctank the elements, blow out there candles.
Here is how I would do this, the wording you could change.
Place a candle at the corner of the table
Put the fifth candle in the middle and place offerings either side.
light top left candle
"In this ritual I call upon the ancient element that blows through this land. Carrying and providing, keeping alive and destroying old, I call upon the element air to this sacred circle."
Light the second candle.
"In this ritual I call upon the ancient element that burns with in us all, burning destroying and saving. I invoke fire into this sacred circle."
Repeat with the bottom left and right for water and earth words.
Do the same with the fifth candle which for me would be either storm of spirit depending what I am doing, probably for this, spirit.
"And in this sacred ritual tonight I do call upon the goddess artemis. I call upon the goddess of the hunt who uunts unfriendly beasts of the worlds I call upon the protector of the young may she protect me in this ritual tonight. I call upon you, beautiful silver eyed artemis to protect me tonight. With artemis as my guide and protector, and with the power of the elements behind me, I do call upon any spirits in this place to chow yourself to me."
[you may need to repeat this a few times]
"Spirit hear me it is wo you I do speak, communicate whrough sight or sound, your intension tonight. If you can now make a sound, a knock or a sound of some kind."
[this part is dependant on the spirit. We will go with knocking for now]
"Now you have stated your self, is your intension good, knock once if it is, twice if it is not."
[if good, ask some simple yes no questions and skip to the end. if not,]
"Based on this I call upon air fire water earth spirit and artemis, bind this creature to the spirit relm, trap him in his unholy flames. I banish thee, demon of the depths may thee return to the void where thou rightly belong. With the power of the elements and the protection of my goddess I do banish thee from this place, your invite is over, thou duth not belong here any more."
Now invision yourself grabbing the spirit, either by the shoulder, the horn, the throat what ever you like and tossing ht into a large black hole. You may need to repeat the chant.
once compete
"And using the power of these 5 elements and the power of my goddess I close the gates between this relm and the spirit, I bind all spirits in this house to the spirit relm, trapping them with the closing of these gates."
Imagine yourself closing the gates and a wind sucking in any negative or unwanted energy as they close.
Now make the offerings to the goddess either eating them in her honour or what ever, your choice.
Thank the elements, blowing out the canles with each thanking, finally say this:
"I now declare this ritual closed, the spirit gates cealed and locked, may negative energy no longer effect me, I this place and this place on the others relms is pure."
