Is there any point to the guided meditation like chakras or grounding?
I usually use the one by TipToeChick, it's nothing special, just helps me unwind.
If you want to walk the person through a guided meditation [provided you're either in the same room or on Skype or something] you could, just speak calmly, tell them to relax, pause for a few moments, then guide them through whatever type of meditation you're going for, but if it's their first time, I'd limit it to a few minutes, like walk them through relaxing and letting go of stresses, then pause for like 30 seconds before saying anything else so they have a few moments to not focus on anything, then bring them back by saying something like 'slowly you are waking. Your feet. Your toes. Your legs...' The key is to be soothing in tone to help them relax. [Also, might be a no brainer, but don't do anything loud to bring them back. My friend was guiding us through a meditation, then decided to cast a circle while we were meditating, and he grounds by stomping his foot. Guess what happened. Scared the life out of us.]
