Rose water: I am very farmilliar with lavendar water and how to make it so I will just replace lavendar with rose.
-two cups of water
-18-20 drops of rose essential oil
-2 ounces of flavorless distilled vodka.
Mix together and you have rose water :) if you are underage or your parents wont let you have access to vodka, let me know and I can find a substitute such as vegetable oil or something. The vodka is only needed as a base but there are many non alcoholic ones as well.
I simmer rose petals 3 times using the same sieved/strained rosewater to get a stronger more scented rosewater. I can only do this in summer when my scented roses are in bloom in my garden. You need old fashioned roses that have scent to do this. Rosewater does not keep long. If you want it to last longer you have to add alcohol or vodka.Fresh rosewater I keep a few days in the fridge.
