Well, massage is healing in its own, as the human touch is healing. I had a friend who was a massage therapist in the salon I worked in at one time. She wore certain healing crystals to help her focus, and on request would do crystal grids around the client as part of her massage service. But massage is an exchange of energies.
If one were to rethink a hug they were given when upset, and how much better did you feel afterwards? I know I always feel at least a slight bit better. Especially when the hug is from someone who truly wishes me the best.
As far as asking guidance while doing a massage, I personally wouldn't consider it "spell using," but maybe more of "spiritual guidance." To be guided to the points of pain, in order to heal said pressure, tissue, etc.

Hello Bill! Do you think from what these members have said, that a spell is magic? It isn't!
A spell is a ritual attempt to obtain a magical result. Do they work? Yes, sometimes. Most often they do not. I have been a practicing witch for well over seventy years. I was trained in witchcraft by a witch. My witch teacher never cast a spell in her life; and neither did I!
A spell is just a wish. You perform a ritual, and make a wish. If you have performed the ceremony of blowing out the candles on a cake, and then making a silent wish, you have cast a spell. Ever pulled a wishbone? That's another spell.
Your massaging hands are healing, to the body and to the emotions. You don't need spells!
I don't know about that Bill
The Witch who doesn't cast spells is usually filed away in the Same section as Dogs that don't Bark or the forgetful Elephant.
where are your figures for this? What "most" are you talking about? Without sources, you are fabricating that opinion on nothing. I would put money on it that if you asked every genuine witch on here whether or not they cast spells 90% at least would say that they do or have done.
Very true Grace but people call themselves Vampires
Werewolves and everything under the sun
So if someone with no magic experience wants to be called a witch so be it.
Im not looking for a label. Just some advice, someone mailed me to ask if I was either of the things I asked about.
I have to learn what a witch is before I can claim anything.
