Magick covers a large variety of practices and beliefs. What exactly are you looking to learn?

I doubt he'd know. Witchcraft has such a wide and free scope. It's not like most paths, where you have set rules that have been written in stone and cannot be broken. I think his teacher should be someone who can tell him his options, but also let him know that there's room for what makes him comfortable personally.
