Okay guys, i'm not talking about the vampires from hollywood with fangs, but i'd love to learn more about psychic vampires ( feeds off of/absorbs your energy). Can anybody tell me abit about them please? They have been brought up quite a lot here. Keen to learn.
Yes I just recently brought them up in another thread. a psychic vampire is a human being the can feed off the spiritual life force of another people. He or she is a parasite nothing mutual comes from associating with these people.
Their nature has a real simple parasitic nature to it. How you could channel and absorb someone's spiritual energy I don't know. They are often predatorial and manipulative I wouldn't want to meet one.
Some people are psychic vampires without even being aware. Say someone is abusive and gets a kick out of the emotion their victim gives off they in a way absorb their energy. Even without knowing that they are absorbing empathetic energys a self aware psychic vampire is the most dangerous. He or she will create situations that will drain someone specifically of their spirt energy.

There are some people who refer to themselves as psychic vampires who claim they need the energy from others in order to feel healthy. The health claims are spurious. And calling oneself a psychic vampire may make you sound cool, but in earlier days before vampires became "cool" they were referred to as energy leeches and looked down upon by the magical community.
I don't believe that people are born needing to drain energy from others. It is a behavior that they learn and develop over time. In a way it is a form of addiction. It is totally possible to become addicted to energy just as it is to food, to drugs, to sex, or gambling, or any other thing. Energy makes us feel better for a period of time, then we need another "fix" so we take energy from another so we can feel good again. Learning to give up on this practice is hard because it deprives us of something that makes us feel better. But until we can turn our back on it and find another way of dealing with our needs then we remain addicts.
