New, looking for info

I was wondering what the difference between casting a spell yourself and someone casting it for you. I just joined, but have been lurking on this site for a while. I've read the basics and feel like I still don't have a grasp on how to proceed. I've seen many people say that one person cannot or will not cast a spell for another person, why?

If you cast a spell for yourself you have controll over what is cast and how it is cast. Many people will not do spells for others for many personal reasons including any negative come back of casting the spell coming back to the person who cast it rather than the person it was cast for. Spells take time, effort and energy so if a person is really serious about wanting a spell cast they should take the time themselves and do their own education i would suggest is another reason.

Additionally, when you cast your own spell you put your own intent into it. Intent is a crucial part of casting. You get to put your feelings and how much you want something to happen. When someone casts for you, even though they are casting on your behalf, they may not feel exactly the way you feel about wanting the desired results and since their feelings about it count as well, it could skew your results.

That makes sense. It just seems like there is so much to learn. It is a little overwhelming. How do you know how to do a spell? There are so many that some people say are fake, and some that seem really similar to someone like me, that people say are real. How do you know if/when you're doing it correctly?

The fantasy spells do not work and you do whatever feels right to you , no two people will cast the exsact same way because of the intent behind it. You will only know it works by trying and seeing if you get any results and you are probably better making up your own spells using whatever means you feel will work best.

On here, I would suggest joining a coven. On the group tab you will find all of them listed. A good coven will have a Priest and Priestess that can help you to plan out your learning and follow your development as well as guide you when you have questions etc. Plus you will have access to the other members in the group who can help you with specific things and the forums can provide good knowledge and discussion on various topics.

Mail me if you want some more info. I recently took over the position of Priest of Penta Magic and can help you with the basics if you are interested. We can come up with a plan for you to get you started.
