I agree with you that what doctorwhoov is asking is definitely impossible but you are wrong about the fact that most people do not believe in real alien existence.
I hang out and read a variety of forums. Whenever the topic of alien life pops up , almost all posters are in agreement of alien lifeforms existing somewhere.
The Universe is very vast and our own segment of the Universe that we reside in , the Solar System , is less that 0.00000001% of the Universe. In fact , I am sure you can add a couple hundred more Zeros to that Percentage.
Yet , the fact is that we exist.
In fact, Scientists over the past decade have discovered planets that have Earth Like Properties and Similarities with similar temperature , similar light recieved and similar gravitational field strength. And those are nearby planets , with only being a couple of hundred light years away.
With all that in mind , if you take that all into account and extrapolate it and the data from there , it is a statistical impossibility for alien life forms not to exist.
Whenever the topic of alien life crops up on a forum site , I noticed a trend that most people are in agreement with the existence of aliens.
