The only way to cure any variety of colitis is to have your colon removed, so uh....don't try that at home? There are medications to help keep colitis in a sort of remission, and there are probably herbals out there to help ease the GI symptoms you have.
Put please consult your doctor. Colitis is no joke.
Learning about which foods bother you helps a lot. I have digestive issues, IBS included, and have found this to be the most helpful. Although impossible, try to avoid stress. Learn ways to calm yourself, whether it be meditation and/or teas to walking in nature. Keeping a food diary is suppose to help, but I find it to be not as helpful. But if you feel to try a food, you can look it up in your diary to see what affects you've already experienced with it. Sorry you have this condition, but learning methods to deal with it seems best to me. Good luck, and try to be calm..
