A Ouija board is about as powerful a tool even in the most accomplished of magickians as a Monopoly board. Conjure the almighty Monopoly dude he will steal your soul is the same level of ignorance as 'Use a Ouia and Satan will kill you' or whatever it is the WiccaChristians tell the kids these days
Brysing, we understood that you are trying to conveice us that isn't real, or show your-self I don't know, but that won't change the the situation of our believe about that! So many people claim that is real..they probaby know something. And I mean from those who knows magic. You will tell me, that people out there are way more that those who believe to ouija boards. Yeah, because those peope have no idea about the magic and all these. If you go to science and tell him that magic exists, they will churn you crazy.
Here is a link to the history of the Ouija board. It comes from a site I trust, at least, I trust it more than most personal experiences and SoM member explanations.
Lightning, you know that your and Brysing's definition of magic, is two completely different things? I assume that you believe as the majority of magicians. That magic is making subtle changes of things, through manipulation of energies. This is the most well used definition.
But Brysing's magic is simply "changing one thing, into something entirely different". That means that from his perspective most things most people see as magic, has nothing to do with magic.
Which means that to him Ouija boards are just toys, spirits, demons etc, don't exist. Because they can't be proven. It also means that magic is very much provable to Brysing, and those that share his beliefs.
Nugias I understand now. You mean Brysing sees i in a different way. Just like a phone for example?? We can say that is magic by itself because you can communicate wih anyone in the world within few seconds? And not like the old days (letters).

I have said this many times on this site. You may believe anything you want to believe. But a belief does not make it true!
Ouija boards were first marketed as a Parlour Game. In the 1920s people started to belief that the boards had magical qualities. They don't, and never did. It's a game, a toy. Made by the toy firm Hasbro.
