The smell of rosemary is said to be helpful for the memory. It also is planted (old times) to show show woman being head of the house. It can be hung in the home for its pleasant aroma and protection.

Rosemary is very good for healing. Put it into a tea and it will alleviate headaches, help with cramps, and even lower blood pressure. It is also good to use for cleansing, along with a few sage leaves, to drive off bad energies.

Rosemary I use in my tea for its natural healing compounds. Also its good as flavoring for many foods. I don't normally use it in incense, but it supposedly can cleanse your aura.

Harvest some sprigs from the plant and bundle them with string. Hang them upside down from an herb ladder, pot rack, clothes line, etc. Leave till dried then remove the leaves from the stems by holding the cut ends and running a lightly closed hand up the stem to remove the dried leaves.
