Ty so much for taking the time to help us, I do believe research is the best way and learning more about what's going on with myself is within myself. I appreciate you.

Thank you for these good tips. I've noticed a lot of people say they are vampires or children of demons on their profiles. Newbies, this is considered role playing and it does not impress people. If you do that here, you will get the wrong kind of attention and people who could teach you about magic might think you are here just to goof around. Learn what magic is, read about what interests you, and for your profile list some reasonable topics of interest people can talk to you about. The less claims you make about yourself, the less you have to defend.

I have just recently come back to magick after some time off and questioning my faith, and I am very surprised by the overwhelming amount of compliments this article has received. After my crisis in faith and belief, seeing I posted this a year ago has almost brought me to tears of joy. I have loved and cherished this life and this community. I am so glad this has reached many beginners. I promise to keep making posts because it makes me happy to connect to you all. Blessings! :D

very good advise. not really new at magick, quite experienced there, but i am very new at this site, as i wanted to find a better alternative to facebook, which is becoming increasingly dumbed-down and mindless and vapid. thank you
