And that is why I keep my beliefrs to myself unless I know the person well enough to trust that they can accept that I believe differently from the way they believe. Telling people without caution often does result in the result you encountered. So if you're going to do that you have to put up with them responding as they have been taught and as they believe. There is a good reason that the Witch's Pyramid says "To Know, To Will, To Dare... To Keep Silent ". If you are concerned about the response you'll get by saying you're a Witch then as Thumper said, "Don't say nothing at all."

I've ran into people like this. People will become violent in some ways of someone doesn't believe what they want them to. I lost a friend being pagan. But it's your religion don't listen to them.

As usual, Lark gives a sensible answer. Only my immediate family know that I am a witch. But, people in my village do know that I sometimes am able to cure their domestic animals of illness or injury. I have treated many; Vets fees are often more than some people can afford. But they do not know that I am a witch; although I think that some of them have their suspicions!
As Lark advises, best to keep silent.

People say things, move on with life. My family is christian, and there the nicest people until you say you follow the religion ''wicca''

My whole life my family made it, get through my head. I honestly hated Christianty because there was so many rules, and things you had to do. I found my home, and even now i am exploring other pantheons like Norse, ect.

Will ranting about a person help? No it will not, your letting the problem continue. So someone said, ''your a witch, your going to hell'' That's fine, and dandy. Tell him, thanks.

When you follow wicca or any other religion....there will always be people who rant about you, to be honest don't make a fuss. It lets him earn power.

Jesus also practiced Witchcraft, i believe it. When they say he walked on water, he walked on low tide water(science proved it!)
Jesus wouldn't be able to tear demons out of people, or even cure blindness. So i believe he may have had magic workings.

Point is, don't let someone say that or bother you. Don't argue unless he threatens. People think there way, is the right way. Truth is, were all in this together.

My parents don't mind me practicing my religion, but they told me alot of hurtful stuff. It's now 3 years later, and guess what? They understand and continue to let me be myself.

Yes because when you die you can come back and haunt the people that are ignorant and won't accept you and your beliefs.
Personally I belive hell is here on this earth,we suffer enough in this life. So why should or would we suffer everlasting torment in hell in our afterlife.
