Seeking A mentor
I'm very new and seeking someone to tell me if I'm on the right start, what I should research and know immediately and the do's and don'ts.

I've noticed no one on this website is interesting in mentoring, but I promise it wouldn't be for long. I guess just an interacting introduction? lol

Learn the "basics" first and that is something that you can do on your own.

Then i dont knowwhat kind of path you are into, or if you know...but then you can kind of look at different aspects of magic and use what appeals to you...or kind of calls to you...

Whatever you do, be leary of people who right off the bat want to teach and so forth...some people mean well but they dont know squat....

and then there are people who would try to take advantage.

Seriously, you are in the right place, this is a great website to begin your journey.

Trust in yourself and take what others say with a grain of salt.

And when you find something that works for you, stick with it and refine that skill or knowledge.

Good luck!!

Mentoring, or teaching, on-line is very difficult. After all, you would only be reading; and there are many books! There are so many "paths", so many beliefs; that trying to teach on-line can only result in absolute confusion. It is why the Mods, like me, advise joining a real coven or Pagan group. At your age it would be a good idea to join such as "The International Pagan Federation". (Address on Google for your area.) The magazine alone is worth the subscription.
Otherwise, on this site, ask questions! Somebody will answer. But be careful. The site has many children who claim to know everything, but know very little!
