Really Confused

Ok, I'm new to this stuff, and I want to learn about it. But I don't necesairly want to belong to a religion. I would like to know if you can practice magick without being wiccan or pagan... Thanks for responding if you know, and thanks for reading if you don't.

Bye!

Yes you can, it may be hard but you can! I say try experimenting by bejnan eclectic witch( it means you pull from every tradition and anything you do or think that feels right)

Every religion practices magick, even if they claim they do not. If you are an atheist, you can just believe in yourself and the natural world around you. I don't do memorized spells (other than the few that exist in my religion), but I do use symbols and I empower tools; like rings, staves and such. I use the faith I have in my Gods (Heavenly Father & Mother, Son/Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit/Ghost). But you can place your faith in whatever you need to practice your magick. Magick power comes from you. To me, my Gods enhance that power when I borrow from them or use "keys" they have given me. But you can draw strength from your own beliefs.

From what information I gained from over the years, Pagan just means you believe in a god that isn't part of a religious group (Christianity, Buddhism, and Judaism are considered not to be pagan religions) Neopagan is just like Pagan except it is with multiple gods (Greek, Roman, Norse, and Egyptian beliefs are commonly referred to when mentioning Neopagan, but does not need to be one of these)

I hope I cleared a bit of confusion for Paganism, however for the original question, no, you do not need to be apart of a pagan or Wiccan belief to practice magick. Like lyseum said, believe in what you believe in.
