Types of Witches? Help?
By:
Hello!
So, I know all about what a hedge witch, kitchen witch, Green witch, ect. are.

But what I have a question on is I keep seeing things like 'sea witch' and 'wind witch' and 'storm witch', and I'm wondering what exactly those mean and if that's something you choose or you just sort of are? Is it just someone who uses mostly water or focuses on water type spells and such would be a sea or water witch?

Thanks for any help!

Sea witches generally work with the sea or sea spirits. Wind and storm witches do the same with wind and storms.

So it's just what kind of spirits, deities and what you work with?

Or no spirits or Deities at all! I suppose you may give yourself any sort of title; depending on what you work with. I call myself a Natural Witch, because I only work with the natural order of things. No Gods or Goddesses. And no spells!

Well, all labels are something that maybe put something that you "just are" into words, but labels themselves aren't something that you "are"; labels are something you choose or even invent.

You can choose to develop a personal connection with the waters, and should that connection develop enough that the best term that fits what you do is "sea witchcraft" then you're a sea witch.
