Honestly, I find the spells section on this site a waste of time. It's flooded with nonsense, so I wouldn't say that it's very accurate. If you're looking for spells, you're way better off writing your own.

I agree. Casting isn't as successful when you copy someone else's spells anyway- no matter who your copying.

Honestly, not accurate at all. Considering anyone is able to post their own spells, the feature should be avoided on the website if you're really willing to learn.

Most spells on the site are very outlandish and fluffy, but if you find a spell that you like that is within reason, the laws of nature, and the laws of science, then tweak it alittle. Maybe add in some different correspondences to strengthen the effect of the spell. If you wish, you can rewrite and change the spell to suit your needs. If you wish to write your own spells, I would suggest reading "exploring spellcraft" by gerina dunwich. :)

If you know what spells work and what spells don't, and for whatever you cannot buy a book or write your own, then I would look at the spells, but there's a lot of non working spells you need to go through. I have seen working spells, but they get lost beneath the 'turn into...' or 'grow a...' spells. If you have the patience and know how, look into the site spells, but its a better idea to write your own.
