Try talking to your teacher about your condition and see if he/she will give you another option.
It may also be what you eat or how much sleep you get that can affect your memory (not saying you do not have short term memory, I do not know your situation). But, look up fruits or veggies that may help with your memort and add it to your meals a few days before your exam. If it works, keep it apart of your diet.
You can, though, light a yellow or brown candle as you study and drop a few drops of an essential oil that can enhance studying too.
