Finding your element.

I'm a newbie on here, but I have always known my element was fire, but here recently I have really been working on trying to train on my abilities in fire, but when I do, weird things happen. Such as a milk jug lid popping off as if there was a lot of pressure in it, or the flame in my candle will suddenly spark, whats going on?¿ Is that normal?? I would love some feed back :)
