Fluffing: Just Why

Thank you for being so welcoming. It's quite hard as a newbie, working everything out and wanting to learn. Thankfully it has been easy to find information like this to help - it is pretty clear in newbie central and does warn about such antics. I got this far without being hasty and it really hasn't put me off reading things that could be classed as fluff, if anything it just add even more motivation to research. I've decided to to keep a page to write the names down of members threads, articles and posts that I have liked and hopefully soon I will just recognise who knows what etc. As there are so many sections and covens it means literally reading and filtering - tiresome but very worth it I think. Oh and the mailing system - some of the messages i have received are quite, well erm rude.

I think our system of marking fluff works fine. Spells are already rated by number of stars and most non fluff members are quick to mark something as fluff. Also some things that certain members disagree as fluff along spiritual lines. Also so many are quick to say impossible. Once flight and inter planet communication was impossible. Instead of marking pyromancing as fluff it'd be better to explain that their answer doesn't lie within magic but possibly within chemistry. Long story short a fluff button would be mis used

There will always be such ones who are either trolling, who cannot seem to differentiate between reality/fantasy, or are honestly misinformed. I am in agreement with both Sataset and awake on this one. All we can do is ignore such
nonsense, guide those who truly want to learn in the direction they desire.Or
be vocal. Whatever direction one chooses to take, is soley up to the individual.
