Meditation spirit guides

Im hoping to meet my spirit guide within meditation just to see of that would work but does anyone know any links or video links I could use to talk me through?

If you mean spirit guide, like an animal totem...
I found mine not through meditation but through my dreams. If you get a dream journal and write

"Guardians of the dream world, I call you to my side.
Reveal my spirit animal, my protector and guide.
Show me the power, beauty, and grace
In the radiant eyes of my guardians face."

Maybe instead try meditating and chanting that until you feel you made your point? Who knows, maybe you'll see your spirit guide in your dreams :)
