magic and music

when i am trying to find something and am having trouble i find that when i do spell to find the missing item i tend to sing the spell (even if i start by just saying the spell by the end i'm singing it) and i can never remember the exact words just that i ask for help locating the item and roughly where it might be. and it works but the spell is never the same even if it is the same item. i've used this to find a box, my mp3 player, and my ring. i would really like to know why i sing spells?

It is very common, as spells are usually said in rhyme, and chants are an effective way of magick, it would make sense that you could sing it. I usually recite it, as if a poet would to a poem, but I also sing them out when I'm in a very good mood.
