Aine of Knockaine
Hello everyone! I would like to know more about the goddess Aine. From what I understand is that she's an Irish moon goddess of fertility, love, protection and the environment. What I would like to know exactly is what are some recommended herbs(plants) that I can use when performing rituals/spells that include her as the god/goddess that I am calling upon for help, anything that relates with this topic helps and sorry if this is unclear to anyone I'm not that good at explaining things :). S?och?na a bheith in ?ineacht leat.

From my knowledge of her she is a goddess of knowledge. The druids associated knowledge with apple's. So she became the guardian of the apple tree. In this all apple wood, leaves, berries , flowers nd fruit a very sacred to her.
I hear tales she is realated to the fae in some way but I am not sure of the validity of this.
Wassaling might be a good thing next harvest, and while singing , imagine and. visualise aine is listening.
Hope this helps

Aine of Knockaine is the queen of the Fae. My colleagues and I are working to find out more about her and her people. The King of the Fae is Gwyn Ap Nudd. He is also the ruler of the otherworld.

I have been told that the Fae were banished to another realm by a group of mages lead by the..second Merlin I think? don't quote me on that. I am told he carried the stones for Stone Henge from Ireland for this purpose. I'm am not certain on the reason they had to be carried from Ireland, this is just what I have been told by oral tradition. The story also says that a gathering of mages on that scale has never been seen before or since. quite frankly I'd like to see mages work together like that in today's world, but maybe it's for the best that we don't.

Aine is known as the Faery Queen.

Beltane is a great time to honor Her. Like the previous poster said, Apples are an excellent offering.
Burying an apple on Samhain, is sure to get her attention.

You can get her help in matters of love and fertility, healing amongst other things.

What a lot of people probably don't realize is that Aine, is also Anu, Mother of Gods and Tribe, Goddess of fertility, abundance and earth.
She is also one of the three aspects of the Morrigan. :)
