Depending on what type of Vodou you are studying. There is New Orleans/Louisiana/American Voodoo, and then there is Haitian Vodou. There are many books, blogs, and websites dedicated to Haitian Vodou, but only a couple web sources on New Orleans Voodoo.

If you're interested in learning about Haitian Vodou, I suggest watching this documentary, and here are some other resources:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMaiNgCwm1s This is Maya Deren's documentary on it. She also has a book that goes along with it ( The Divine Horsemen: The Living Gods of Haiti)

The Haitian Vodou Handbook: Protocols for Riding with the Lwa by Kenaz Filan is a wonderful book to read. I personally like his writing. He also has a book on New Orleans Voodoo.

I am no expert on Vodou, but there is just some books and such I have read. You will find a lot of information through talking with other practitioners, and researching on you're own.

There is a lot to learn in the path. It's not really a "How to" kind of thing, since it's a religion.
