Does anyone know how to cure a blocked/runny nose? Tissues aren't working and neither is medicine. Would be helpful because I get a cold whenever the weather changes. Thanks

Here's some suggestions you might like to give a try:

1. Steam yourself

The fast and effective remedy for runny nose is steam yourself by taking a warm bath. After having a shower, stay in the bathroom for sometime until steam remain. Warm bath gives instant comfort to soothe a runny nose.

2. Humidify your bedroom

Humidifying bed room is the best approach to treat runny nose. If its possible invest a humidifier in the bedroom. Humidifier helps to add moisture to the air in room environment that makes mucus thinner. If you cant manage humidifier, then close the door after having steam shower. That makes your room steam.

3. Salt water gargle

Salt water is a simple and easiest remedy to get rid of a runny nose. Just take warm water in small bowl. Add a little pinch of salt and combine it. First, gargle with the salt water for a couple of minutes. Afterward, wash the nostrils with the solution. That helps to clear out the toxins from the nose. Do it several times throughout the day.

4. Herbal tea

Herbal tea really works excellent for runny nose. Ive tested one more herbal tea on my own. Among them, ginger tea is the best one. Lets prepare it. Take few fresh slices of ginger and boil them for 5-7 minutes with a mug of water. You can put a cinnamon stick to add a pleasant aroma. Take a tea bag in a mug with necessary sugar. Pour the flavored water in a tea mug and enjoy the greatest herbal tea after adding a little lemon extract.

5. Mustard oil

Mustard oil is pretty simple but effective remedy for getting rid of a runny nose. You can take the pleasure of mustard oil in many ways. Take cup boiled vapor water and add 2 tbsp oil in it. Then inhale the vapor with long breaths. Do it several times throughout the day.

6. Chew raw ginger

Chewing raw ginger really soothes runny nose quickly. Take a fresh ginger and squeeze it. Chew all with salt. Take as much as you can. Garlic is well known for its lot of health benefits.

7. Cinnamon with honey

Cinnamon with honey is an effective natural healer of runny nose. Take 2 tbsp honey in a cup. Add a pinch of cinnamon powder in it. Now, add quarter spoon lemon juice in it. You are adding lemon because lemon is great fruit full with vitamin C including some anti- bacterial agents that have cold healing power.

Vics Vapo Rub is also really good for the runny nose issue - a little dab at the top of your chest while you sleep, or you can get the face strips in CVS.

I like to make a chap stick with beeswax, sweet almond oil, peppermint oil, and tea tree oil that I can apply to the skin above my lip while I sleep. It helps keep my nose from running and/or getting stuffy, and I sleep like a baby :)
