never heard of the Jesus representation, but symbols can be used by anyone for anything really. Lark explained everything pretty nicely. the only difference is the star in a circle or by itself.
@ goddessdiana, while it can be used by Satanists, it's not exclusively a symbol of Satan. also [again Lark said it] the inverted pentagram where the fifth tip points down is for Satan, it represents the ram/goats head. [nose down, two horns and two ears make the stars points] it's not exclusive as it's been used throughout history for many things, but commonly, the elements. as i said, symbols can be used by anyone, example, the reversed crucifix, many Satanists use it to represent the anti-christ, but it's the symbol of the pope.
